Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 14.5 oz. Can College Inn Chicken Broth with Roasted Vegetable & Herbs
  • 1 Tbsp. BUTTER
  • 1 Tbsp. SHALLOT minced
  • 1/4 cup WHITE WINE
  • 1/4 cup SUN-DRIED TOMATOES diced
  • 1/2 cup HEAVY CREAM
  • 1/4 tsp. SUGAR

Instructions

Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and sauté 1 minute. Add broth, white wine and sun-dried tomatoes, bring to a boil and simmer to reduce, about 10 minutes. Add heavy cream and sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to desired thickness.

Sauce – serve with baked or grilled cod, pork, or chicken breasts
